Although I have actually been asked any questions yet, hopefully this page will stave off the ones I expect to be asked. If you have any questions that aren't covered here, feel free to e-mail me.

Why does your page look messed up?
This page is primarily designed and tested with Mozilla. However, it has been tested and should display properly on many other browsers, inluding Internet Exporer 6, Opera 7, and any KHTML or Gecko-based browsers. If you're using one of the above browsers and are having problems, make sure your browser is identifying itself correctly; the web server may be sending you code that it thinks is for another browser. If you're still having problems, let me know what browser you're using and give me a screenshot of what it looks like.
Can I have an account on your server?
Maybe. If you're a friend, just ask; if you're a friend of a friend, probably, talk to me about it. If the level of indirection through which I know you is greater than that, though, it's fairly unlikely.
So I have an account, what can I do?
Well, the most obvious thing you can do is set up a web page. Log in via SFTP or or SSH and put your files in the public_html/ directory. You can also check your e-mail; either go to the webmail page, or download an e-mail client. The server supports logging in via POP3 (on port 23) or IMAP (default port) with TLS encryption, but if your e-mail client supports it, I highly recommend using POP3/IMAP over SSL instead. Sakabatou no longer supports plaintext authentication. You can also send mail via SMTP, but authentication is required -- check the settings in your e-mail client, most turn SMTP auth off by default. Furthermore, encryption is required for SMTP; either TLS over port 25 or SSL over port 465.
What are those buttons on the right for?
All of those link to pages hosted on sakabatou. If you have an account on sakabatou.net and would like to have a button over there, just make one and send it to me. It'd be best if it was 200x75, in JPG or PNG format.
What's this "sakabatou" thing? Who's the guy in the upper right?
"Sakabatou", as written in the kanji above, is Japanese for "reverse-blade sword," the weapon of choice of Kenshin Himura, the guy in the upper right. He's from the anime series Rurouni Kenshin (which is copyright of Media Blasters, as is the art). Why did I pick it? Because "sakabatou" sounds cool. :-p
It does? How do you pronounce it? O_o
One must bear in mind that in Japanese, stress is not placed on syllables in words as it is in English. "Sakabatou" has five syllables, sa-ka-ba-to-u. The "a" in romanized Japanese always has a soft sound, as in "fall." The "o" has a long sound, like in "no." The "u" is what is known as a "whispered mora" -- for our intents, it may as well be silent, so it just sounds like the "to" is held a bit longer than it should be.
What about that background image?
That's a color-shifted version of one of the leaf backgrounds found at http://home.earthlink.net/~iridiax/. Aren't they pretty?
